Attitudes of the Brajan Tamantirto Community Toward Training on Composting and Alternative Feed Pellets from Organic Waste

The increasing problem of organic waste is a challenge for the community, especially in Brajan Hamlet, Tamantirto, Kasihan, Bantul. This study aims to determine community attitudes, and the correlation between community attitudes and factors towards organic waste processing training. The method used is descriptive method. The data used are primary and secondary data. Respondents in this study were 74 people taken from organic waste processing training participants from March to May 2025. The data collection method used was an interview in the form of a questionnaire. The results showed that community attitudes towards organic waste processing training can be known from cognitive attitudes resulting in a score of 37.2 including in the know category, affective attitudes resulting in a score of 21.5 including in the strongly agree category, and conative attitudes resulting in a score of 20.2 including in the willing category. The overall attitude of the community falls into a very good category. Factors associated with community attitudes towards organic waste processing training are in cognitive attitudes, including age and counseling. Affective attitudes include education level and land ownership. While in the conative attitude related are counseling, training, social media, gender, and livestock ownership.
