Retrospect and Prospect of Heating Methods and Biomass Technology in Northern China’s Rural Areas

Heating methods adopted in Northern China’s rural areas show characteristics of diversity, low heat efficiency, bringing environmental pollution and so on. Meanwhile, with harvest in rural areas, there has been a problem of a large amount of accumulated waste straws which can be used as biomass energy, a source of clean energy and also green energy of the 21st century given its fraction of harmful components such as sulfur, nitrogen and heavy metals.
