Azo compounds are difficult to remove from wastewater by conventional wastewater treatment methods. In this study, an Fe-based amorphous alloy was used as a catalyst for the degradation of azo dyes by Sono-Fenton method. The effects of pH, oxidant dosage and temperature on the reaction process of Sono-Fenton and its mechanism of action were investigated. The fastest degradation rate was observed at pH=2, an experimental temperature of 35°C and a H2O2 dosage of 100 μL, with a degradation time of 25 min.
