The role of innovative technologies in the development of the fuel and energy industry of the Russian Federation

The efficiency of fuel and energy companies depends to a large extent on the level of automation of technological processes, information security, and cost reduction through the introduction of innovative technologies. The article considers the problems of using innovation in the enterprises of the fuel and energy sectors, the analysis of the main indicators of the level of their development. The article offers directions for the introduction of innovations in the fuel and energy complex of the country. The influence of the use of innovative technologies on the process of drilling wells was studied. A model for cost optimization based on the use of innovative technologies to automate the processes of collecting and processing information obtained during drilling was developed.
