Resource conservation of water in certain regions of the country is directly related with the use of water and human activity. The unsatisfactory condition of sewage treatment plants, distribution networks and the shortage of capacities of water treatment facilities for environmental management have led to negative environmental consequences. To solve this problem, a technology of ozone-sorption water purification with a remote filtration module has been proposed. A water purification device has been developed in which water is being ozonized and solid precipitation being formed during ozonation is then purified by the usage of special filters. The ozonation process is multifactorial, its implementation is being accompanied by the oxidation of metal cations, as well as organic compounds that are being removed from the water during subsequent filtration. For this purpose, a remote filter filled with activated carbon has been being used, as well as a self-cleaning filter, which uses fundamentally new filters made of porous polymers with filtration, adsorption properties and the ability to self-regenerate. In addition, water disinfection has been provided. When using a filtration module in installations for ozone-sorption water purification, the performance of which corresponds to the performance of the installation, the quality of purified water from consumers is guaranteed.
