Blockchain technology has shown promise in various industries, but its application in ecology has been limited. This study explores the potential of blockchain in addressing ecological challenges, improving transparency, and promoting sustainable practices. A comprehensive literature review is conducted, followed by a qualitative analysis of relevant case studies. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of blockchain in enhancing data security, traceability, and stakeholder collaboration. The study concludes that blockchain technology has the potential to revolutionize ecological conservation and management, ultimately leading to more sustainable ecosystems.
