Two-bundled conductors are generally used in the design of 750 kV substations. Compared to two-bundled conductors, multi-bundled conductors have higher load capacity and greater start-up voltage. This paper investigates the possibility of using multi-bundled conductors instead of two-bundled conductors in 750 kV substations from both technical and economic aspects.
