The article presents the results of a study of the dynamic behavior and stress-strain state of the Rezaksay soil dam taking into account the physically nonlinear properties of soils, in a flat setting. A mathematical model developed for the study of earth dams is presented. based on the Lagrange variational equation using the d'Alembert principle. As a computing device, the finite element method is used in the work. At the same time, it was determined that the stress-strain state and dynamic behavior of a soil dam significantly depend on the physical and mechanical properties of soils, the commensurability of the geometric dimensions, and theslope coefficients of the dam thrust prisms.
