The article provides an analysis of various methods for determining the increase in internal water pressure on the lining of penstock pipes of hydro power plants (HPP) under seismic impacts using static and dynamic theories. The main factors affecting the amplitude of vibration are analyzed.
Key words: Dynamic model for seismic impact calculation / velosigram of an earthquake / pressure conduit / hydrodynamic pressure increase
