The paper is concerned with the application of fault tree and event tree methods to analyze and improve the survivability of the structure of the demand response aggregator (DR Aggregator). The approach used for this purpose was first called the Method of Fault Tree Synthesis and Analysis, combining the fault tree and event tree methods based on the mechanism and kinetics of undesired events affecting the object under study. With this approach, one can more accurately determine the most vulnerable components of the DR Aggregator structure, and ways to enhance their security.
