The placement of the Actinidia deliciosa culture in the wet subtropics of Russia is based on an assessment of the influence of agroclimatic conditions on the crop of culture in the plant-environment system. Factors have been established that limit the territory of possible cultivation of actinidia delicious in terms of frost resistance, as well as the properties of soils that limit its productivity. The results of the study of the soil cover and the properties of the main types of soils of the moist-subtropical zone of the Russian Federation and the assessment of agricultural land by the criterion of equilibrium density and power of the soil profile formed the basis of their suitability for the culture of A. Deliciosa. The agroecological characteristic of its varieties is represented by indicators of environmental plasticity and potential productivity.
