Liquid hydrogen container stress analysis

Based on the development of hydrogen liquefaction series equipment, this paper focuses on the development of large-scale vertical liquid hydrogen containers. The structural strength and stress of the outer container under the no-load and operating conditions under the seismic load of magnitude 8 were analyzed, and the equivalent stress response spectra of the 5th-order non-zero mode and the 8-intensity seismic load of the inner and outer containers under the full load and no-load conditions were obtained, and the stress concentration points were obtained from the stress analysis results and the improvement suggestions were given, and it was found that the modal response of the inner container under the full load and no-load conditions was basically the same, but the first-order response was less than 4Hz, and the influence of wind load should be considered.
