The influence of soil foundtion consideration method on the dynamic characteristics of the building frame has been studied. The object of the study is a monolithic reinforced concrete frame. Modeling of the calculation model according to the scheme "soil foundation - foundation - topside" was performed .Three finite element models have been developed with a variation of taking into account the soil base. Absolutely rigid base, malleable Winkler base and dynamic Savinov foundation are considered. As a result of the dynamic calculation, the frequencies and periods of natural oscillations of the building frame were obtained. Comparison of the obtained results based on three versions of the models has been made. An optimal method for taking into account the soil foundation in the modeling of the soil foundation in the dynamic calculation of the frames of multi-story-buildings is proposed.
