The National Herbarium of Uzbekistan (TASH) kept over 1.5 million specimens but the diversity of Rosa had not been thoroughly recorded. This study documented 3,800 Rosa specimens encompassing 93 taxa. The most common were R. webbiana, R. kokanica, R. canina. An additional 106 were unidentified. Species distributions across Uzbekistan's regions were mapped. Cross-referencing names revealed 39 taxa lacking scientific names. Comparisons identified taxonomic synonyms. Specimens ranged from 1901-2020 but most were from 1920-1960. This research provides the first analysis of TASH's Rosa, establishing a baseline dataset and taxonomic insights to support future investigations into Uzbekistan's Rosa diversity and biogeography.
