Alai range vegetation: Features and environmental significance

This article is devoted to the study of some important issues of the flora of the Alai range. The Pamir mountain ranges, located in Central Asia, are among the highest and most difficult in the world. The peculiarity of the flora of the Pamir-Alai range, their morphological features are closely related to the natural and climatic conditions of the area. The entire species, generic and family composition of plants has historically been formed in this area. The article also examines the conditions of the high mountains, the belt differentiation of the flora, which play an important role in the ecosystem of the region. This region attracts the attention of researchers of the world scientific community, as well as tourists with its unique vegetation, which has adapted to the extreme conditions of the high mountains. This article discusses the main vegetation types of the Pamir Alai mountain ranges, their distribution and ecological significance.
