Recycling agricultural waste as a way to sustainable development

The paper discusses the importance of agricultural waste recycling as one of the modern green technology categories. The authors describe and analyze the case of using agricultural waste for biodegradable polymers production by applying innovative biomicrogel’s technology. Further, the contribution of these environmentally friendly products to solving the problems of wastewater treatment and water purification is highlighted. Principles of conscious consumption as a significant part of sustainable development are outlined. The vital role of support from the state, scientific research, and business community in the implementation of green technologies is stressed.
