This article hereby represents the study results of production parameters for a waste motor oil at remote northern areas where electricity is generated by diesel power plants without centralized energy distribution. Production of this secondary resource has been compared with the «northern delivery» volumes of energy resources to the northern and arctic areas of Russia. Characteristics of territorial distribution of the gold deposits, reserves and resources are given for the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Yakutia, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and Murmansk Oblast where possible production volumes of the cheap explosives with a waste motor oil as the combustible component for gold ore mining using are shown.
