To solve the problem of incomplete removal of silt and disturbance of gravel during the dredging process of the gravel foundation surface of immersed tube tunnels, a dredging suction head with dual functions of mechanical scraping and hydraulic conveying has been developed, which can effectively remove silt while ensuring the accuracy of the foundation surface. Based on the prototype of the dredging suction head, physical model experiments were conducted to analysis the influence of suction head speed and travel speed on dredging efficiency, obtained the optimal operating parameters of dredging suction head. The article provides a reference for the deepening research and development of dredging equipment.
