As a widely used building cement material, the performance of cement directly affects the quality and durability of the building. In the process of concrete production, admixture is an additive with a key role, which can effectively improve the working performance of concrete and enhance the mechanical characteristics of concrete itself. With the continuous progress of technology, various types of water-reducing agents emerge at the historic moment, and the effect of improving the strength and durability of concrete is different. This paper mainly analyzes different types of water reducer, retarder, pilot, mixing factors on the concrete performance, and concluded that the best mixing scheme is: polycarboxylic acid water reducer: retarder (sodium gluconate): pilot: water =150:25:0:3:824.7, concrete performance all meet the construction requirements. It provides theoretical basis and guidance for commercial mixed enterprises to choose water- reducing agent products and service positioning.
