This study investigates the impact of environmental performance, independent commissioners, institutional ownership, and industry sensitivity on environmental disclosure within non-cyclical consumer companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2022. Employing a purposive sampling method, the research analyzed 50 companies using multiple linear regression with SPSS 26. Findings indicate that environmental performance positively influences environmental disclosure, supporting the legitimacy theory that stronger environmental engagement leads to greater transparency. However, independent commissioners, institutional ownership, and industry sensitivity do not affect disclosure levels significantly. These results suggest that while corporate environmental performance plays a key role in disclosure practices, governance structures and industry factors may not be as influential. This study contributes to understanding corporate sustainability reporting and offers insights for policymakers and business leaders aiming to enhance environmental transparency.
