The purpose research over the last three decades has focused on the the “optimum” structural mechanics system. The Reliability-Based Design Optimization (RBDO) seeks to find the best compromise between safety and cost levels. This model often needs a very high computing time and leads to weak convergence stability. A hybrid method was proposed to overcome these difficulties. However, when applying on real dynamic cases, we have a big number of degrees of freedom. In this paper presents an appraisal of coupling the method of synthesis modal and reliability-based structural system optimization.
