Timber-concrete composite elements offer an efficient structural solution by combining the advantages of both materials. This paper focuses on the numerical modelling of semi-rigid connections and presents methods for incorporating them into FEM models using two structural analysis software. The goal is to accurately represent the slip modulus of the shear connection. The findings provide practical recommendations for engineers and designers in selecting appropriate modelling approaches.
