This paper shows the role of Russia’s Asian regions in the production and consumption of energy resources for two scenarios (conservative and target) of the economy development in the country until 2035 and for the 2050 perspective. The dynamics and structure for the energy resources supply from the Asian regions to the European part of Russia and for export to the European and Asian countries is presented. The Asian regions are shown to still remain the main suppliers of energy resources in the country. By 2050, about 80% of the energy resources produced in the Asian regions will be resupplied outside their borders, 5657% of them for export.
