The resource of a cast section directly depends on its density and quality of micro-macrostructure. The article presents the results of combined heat treatment application. On the basis of comparison of research results the application of homogenisation for cast billets from IN-792-5A alloy is justified. The work on the selection of technological modes to minimise the content of γ' phase in the body of the cast billet has been carried out. The object of the study was a cast billet of the work blade of the 4th stage.
