Today, small and medium-sized businesses in the Kyrgyz Republic are the main priority area of the country’s economic growth. I would like to note that the pandemic that has overtaken the whole world has significantly affected the state of business, since during this period many citizens of our republic were forced to look for a new type of income in order to feed themselves and their families. The purpose of this study is to identify factors influencing the development of entrepreneurship in Kyrgyzstan with an environmentally oriented economy. But when conducting analytical work in this sector of the economy, we see that it is experiencing difficulties not only in attracting capital, but also in attracting highly qualified personnel. It should be noted that at the moment the dominant small and medium-sized businesses in the republic are: ecotourism, trade, agriculture, public catering outlets, hotels, transport and transport services, communications, financial activities, educational services, medical services, provision and further implementation of social -utilities and personal services. And it is necessary to develop small and medium-sized businesses in these sectors of the national economy.
Key words: small and medium-sized businesses / government support / ecotourism / environmental entrepreneurship / digital government system / green environmental standards
