Organization of primary health care as a factor in the effective development of rural areas

The gist of this article boils down to modern methodological approaches to organizing the provision of primary health care in order to improve the quality of life of the rural population in the Sverdlovsk region. The authors reflect the need for reorganization of domestic healthcare towards a focus on the preventive focus of the treatment and diagnostic process, as well as early detection of severe forms of diseases, which is associated with the provision of high-quality, affordable medical care to the population of rural areas. During the analysis of information and analytical material reflecting the activities of primary health care, the authors identified positive and negative trends in its development within a single subject of the Russian Federation. The main directions for the further development of primary medical and social care to the population have been identified in order to improve the medical and demographic indicators of rural areas.
