An experimental study of the heat capacity of leucite used as the main component in the new generation of composite ceramics was carried out. The heat capacity was measured by the method of differential scanning calorimetry using a DSC 404 F1 setup in the temperature range from 300 to 980 K of the solid state. The estimated error of the obtained results was 2– 3%. The fitting equation and the table of recommended data were developed for scientific and practical application. The heat capacity temperature dependence in the range of about 820–950 K revealed two phase transformations, which were related to the transition from the tetragonal leucite phase to the cubic one upon heating: I41/a(tetragonal) → I41/acd(tetragonal) → Ia3d(cubic).
