Towards the development of regime cards for driving trains using of locomotives of diesel tractions
Tashkent State Transport University (Tashkent, Uzbekistan)
The results of theoretical and experimental studies on the justification and comparative analysis of the use of regimes cards driving of trains by locomotives of different types of traction under operating conditions are presented. A map of optimized differentiated driving modes for trains with a unified train mass for two-section diesel locomotives in real conditions of organizing railway cargo transportation, taking into account recommendations for its use, is proposed. The specified map in form and content was compiled through traction and energy calculations on a specific section of the locomotive crew with optimization of the transportation process for driving the train, based on the method of dynamic step-by-step programming developed by the author of this article. When organizing railway transportation under conditions different from those calculated, the author recommends that drivers switch to train driving modes according to special tables of the best efficiency of the diesel locomotive power circuit. As a result of the analysis and generalization of data from experimental trips, it was proven that the use by drivers of developed maps of optimized differentiated modes of driving freight trains with the studied diesel locomotives on real sections of one of the locomotive depots of the Uzbek Railway provides more than three percent savings in natural diesel fuel on train traction. It is recommended that these studies on the optimization of train driving modes and the development of “optimal” mode maps, acceptable for real operating conditions on railway sections of varying difficulty, be continued for locomotives of electric traction.
