Justification for choosing the optimal technology for controlling the transportation operation of locomotives
Tashkent State Transport University (Tashkent, Uzbekistan)
The choice of some elements of the material and technical base and the organization of work under the conditions for optimizing the transportation work of locomotives is analyzed. The criterion for this choice is the gain parameter in the form of annual reduced economic and operating costs, determined on the basis of traction and energy calculations through the use of optimal train movement modes on a specific, real section of the Uzbek railway. It has been proven that for TE3 diesel locomotives, the annual normalized economic and operating costs will be higher than for 2TE10L(V) diesel locomotives, by 1.26 and 4.45 percent, respectively. And increasing the length of the railway line in limit train speed and increasing the level of its limitation will ensure savings in the amount of 1,405 thousand rubles with a payback period of 1.43 years. It is recommended to continue these studies for a wider range of elements of the material and technical base and the organization of transportation work of locomotives.
