Abstract
This article presents information on the morphology and biology, ecology, adaptability, and development of Elaeagnus macrophylla Thunb. under the conditions of Uzbekistan, as well as its significance in the national economy. The article also provides data on the morphology of the fruit, fruit moisture content, pH value, ash content, mass ratio of the fruit flesh and seed, and methods for determining the protein and flavonoid content in the fruits.
