This article presents data on leaf morphology and total oil and carbohydrate content of Elaeagnus macrophylla Thunb. It contains information on ways to determine the importance of plants with essential oil in medicine and economy, modern methods.This article also provides information on monosaccharides, oligosaccharides, and polysaccharides. Also information about the importance and properties of carbohydrates is provided.
