Information Literacy by Diponegoro University Library Science S1 Students of Batch 2020 in Fulfilling Their Information Needs

Information literacy is a person's ability needed to be able to locate, evaluate, and use information effectively. The existence of information literacy skills possessed by a student will of course be used in learning during lectures, this is because students need information with valid data and sources. This study aims to determine the information literacy ability of Diponegoro University Library Science students in 2020 to meet information needs. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection using observations, interviews, and literature studies. The results shos that the ability of students in information literacy was quite good. It can be seen that some students have been able to identify information needs by developing keywords, and Diponegoro University Library Science 2020 students have been able to evaluate the information they need so that they can find valid information for lecturing references.
