Development of tomato in the lowlands is a solution to increase tomato production in Indonesia. Genotype selection using an appropriate criteria can help to obtain the tomato genotypes with have high production in the lowlands. This study was aimed to determine the appropriate selection criteria for tomatoes with high production in the lowlands. This study was organized in a randomized block design with three replications. The genotype used in this study was a collection of pure line from IPB's breeding laboratory. The results showed that several characters had a significant correlation with fruit weight per plant. Determination of selection criteria based on characters that have high heritability values with a significant correlation to fruit weight per plant. The characters of fruit length, weight per fruit and plant crown width have very significant correlation values with fruit weight per plant, so these three characters can be used as selection criteria.
