Research progress in the application of vegetable dyes

Vegetable dyes have been paid more and more attention because of their innocuity and good compatibility with the environment, but they can not completely replace chemical synthetic dyes. In this paper, the classification, identification method, application and existing problems of vegetable dyes are described, which can be used for reference in the further development of vegetable dyes.
