The article attempts to generalize the theoretical interpretations of the concept of “interregional differentiation”, the essence of the theories of regional growth, determining the level of heterogeneity of the socio-economic space of Uzbekistan and the trends of regional development in the republic. The period of implementation of the Strategy of Actions of the Republic of Uzbekistan in five priority areas of development - 2017-2021 was adopted as the main period of the study. The practical significance of the study is to summarize the results of the implementation of the above-mentioned strategy by assessing the interregional differentiation of socio-economic development in the regions of Uzbekistan. The results of the study can be used in the system of strategic decision-making aimed at the sustainable development of the territories of the republic.
