Nuclear power has played a pivotal role in meeting the growing global energy demand. However, the development of nuclear energy has been punctuated by a series of high-profile accidents, such as Chernobyl and Fukushima, which have raised significant concerns regarding its environmental impact. This paper aims to evaluate nuclear energy through data by using additional methods and to provide an overview of historical development of nuclear power technology and nuclear accidents. In order to evaluate thoroughly, the method of ratio estimation had been applied to find the trend for nuclear energy in previous decades and the potential development in the future. As a result, it emphasizes the effectiveness of nuclear energy changes structure of energy outputs in some countries. France, for instance, has already placed nuclear power as the main source for clear energy output. The paper proofs the development of nuclear power has been marked by significant improvements in safety and environmental consciousness. However, the specter of nuclear accidents looms large, necessitating ongoing vigilance and robust environmental evaluation processes. Despite that, the paper still contains additional assumption needed to be solved or explained.
