The blooming period of the cucumber plant depended on the characteristics of the varieties, meteorological conditions, the time of planting, and the order of harvesting the fruits. Generative organs appeared in the leaf axils on the 15th-18th day after germination in the “Uzbeksky 740” variety, and on the 18th-22nd day in the “Margelansky 822” variety. After some time, it was possible to determine the gender of the flower. Male flowers bloomed first: 35-40 days after germination in “Uzbeksky 740” variety, 50-55 days in “Margelansky 822” variety. Blooming of female flowers is observed after 42-47 days after germination in “Uzbeksky 740” variety and after 57-62 days in “Margelansky 822” variety. In the Tashkent region, the blooming of female flowers in the “Uzbeksky 740” variety coincided with the 40th day from the day of emergence of sprouts at the optimal density between plants. This was 45% of the period from germination to fruit ripening. When the plant thickened to 142,800/ha, the blooming of female flowers was delayed by 2 days, fruit formation by 8 days, and fruit ripening by 22 days. This was found that the period of branching - blooming occupied 38% of the period of branching - fruit ripening.
