By analyzing the microbial diversity of the fillers in the multi-layer percolation system and using high-throughput sequencing technology, this paper conducted a detailed analysis of the microbial community structure of the multi-layer percolation system, revealing its role in pollutant removal. It was found that the microorganisms of specific bacterophyla played a key role in the pollutant removal process. It provides the microbiological basis for further optimization of multilayer percolation system.
