Industrial development and assessment of its impact in Samarkand region - a GIS mapping-based study

In this article, the trends in the development of industrial sectors in the Samarkand region, the role of industry in the development of the regional economy, the structure of the industrial sector and its determining factors, the importance of industries and their development and ensuring employment of the population are highlighted on the basis of GIS maps. Also, the state of using the production potential in the region and the possibilities of using it in the development of its own industry were studied. At the moment, in the implementation of economic reforms in the region, the main task is to ensure macroeconomic stability, increase the size of the gross domestic product, effectively use its factors, and improve the structural structure of the economy.
