Jet flows with active control methods are numerically studied. Axial, flapping and helical oscillations of the inlet velocity profile, transverse vibrations of the inlet boundary, and harmonic disturbances from sources located on the lateral boundaries are considered. The process of branching of a submerged round jet under the external excitations is explored depending on their type and amplitude.
