Investigation of signal propagation in a gradient crystal of lithium niobate

The relevance of this problem is due to the possibility of studying the influence of processes inside a gradient lithium niobate crystal, which can improve the quality of signal transmission. The properties of gradient lithium niobate as a phase modulator of an optical signal are modeled. The differences in the behavior of a gradient modulator from a modulator with a constant composition are investigated when the wavelength of the signal and the applied voltage change.
