An Approach for Design of Air Quality Monitoring Systems
Dept. of Electrical, Electronic and Comp. Eng. University of Ulsan, Ulsan, Korea
Nowadays, society has realized the dangers of air pollution and is actively implementing air quality monitoring systems. These systems are based either on the deployment of a small number of fixed monitoring stations using high-level sensors, or on many lower-quality sensors integrated into the city infrastructure. However, there is a lack of tools that would allow developing recommendations and techniques for selecting the type of air sensors. In this work this gap is partially filled.
Key words: air pollution / air quality monitoring system / air sensors / sensor assessment
