The experience of the study of seismicity in Kuzbas in the 21st century has been summarized. An increase in dangerous seismic events in the region has been determined. Given the situation, a new seismic safety technique needs to be developed, based on fundamental studies, which is an important scientific task. Thus, the goal of the study is the development of a seismic safety technique based on complex and continuous instrumental measurements performed to understand the genesis of seismicity and its regional patterns, including the relationship with geodynamics of the Earth’s crust. The fundamental research based on multi-year complex instrumental measurements that take into account the formation and the hierarchy of the crust characterizes the integration of the relationship between the adjacent branches of science (seismology, geophysics, geodesy, geodynamics, and geomechanics). Applicable results of the study include a wider informational source required to assure the seismic safety of Kuzbas.
