The influence of various planting schemes on the growth, development and productivity of the variety chickpeas “Nitrigum” in the conditions of meadow gray soils in the Okdarya district of the Samarkand region was studied. When planting chickpeas according to different (45x9, 60x9, 70x9, and 90x9) planting schemes, the growing season of chickpeas is short (74–85 days), its height is high (61.2–69.7 cm), and it has the highest yield for the year (2021–2022). When planting according to the 45x9 scheme, the yield was 23.9–24.1 c/ha, and the lowest yield was 18.5–19.5 c/ha, respectively, when planting according to the 90x9 scheme.
