Although a large number of studies have been carried out to optimize the processes of pressing metals and alloys, the recommendations for industrial use are ambiguous and cannot be extended to the entire product range. To a special extent, this applies to hollow products such as cups with a flange for the manufacture of which, the most rational and economical (but at the same time very energy-intensive) is the process of pressing with the reverse expiration of metal on hot-stamping presses (CHSP). Therefore, the relevance of theoretical studies of the stress-strain state of metal remains in relation to the manufacture of products of this type by reverse pressing (“reverse extrusion”) in order to find the most effective technological schemes of deformation, providing a significant reduction in energy intensity with minimal labor costs and allowing the use of universal forging and pressing equipment.
