This study investigated the presence of genetic markers associated with salinity and stress tolerance in Tetradium daniellii using gel electrophoresis. Three markers (CAT, GR, RBOH) were identified out of 12 markers screened that are linked to salinity resistance and olerance to drought, cold, pathogens and cadmium stress. The identification of these markers provides insights into the genetic basis of stress tolerance in T. daniellii.
