In our rapidly evolving digital age, where data is the lifeblood of businesses and individuals alike, safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring secure communication channels has become paramount. This research paper introduces a novel hybrid cryptographic algorithm designed to address the multifaceted challenges of data security and secure communication. The proposed algorithm leverages the beneficial features of symmetric and asymmetric encryption approaches, developing a way for robust and adaptable security solutions. This hybrid algorithm begins by utilizing a state-of-the-art symmetric encryption cipher, Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), to encrypt data while preserving its confidentiality efficiently. To further fortify the security framework, an asymmetric encryption component based on Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) is employed for secure key exchange and a Digital Signature Algorithm (DSA) in order to strengthen the security framework further. Key management and exchange mechanisms are meticulously designed to withstand attacks and safeguard the cryptographic keys. The paper comprehensively analyzes the hybrid algorithm's security properties and computational efficiency. Furthermore, it explores the techniques and algorithms employed for data security, highlighting their significance in diverse domains. This hybrid cryptographic algorithm demonstrates its effectiveness in achieving enhanced data security and secure communication through rigorous testing and evaluation. This study contributes advanced knowledge of cryptographic techniques and highlights the significance of data security in an era defined by digital interconnectedness.
