Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a vital tool in law enforcement. The integration of AI in law enforcement serves as a key advancement in enhancing public safety and improving the efficiency of justice system. AI technologies, such as predictive policing systems and facial recognition, have the potential to streamline operations, reduce human errors, and accelerate decision-making processes. However, the implementation of these technologies also raises numerous ethical issues, particularly concerning privacy, fairness, transparency, and accountability. This study examines the alignment of AI usage in law enforcement with Pancasila, the philosophical foundation of the Indonesian state, to ensure that AI implementation respects human rights and fundamental values. Pancasila, which emphasizes human dignity, social justice, and equality, provides a strong ethical framework for evaluating AI's role in law enforcement. The study used normative legal research methods with a philosophical Pancasila’s approach and qualitative analysis. Secondary data, such as journal articles and book, were analysed to assess how AI technologies can be harmonized with Pancasila's core values, including justice and equality. The findings reveal that while AI has the potential to enhance the effectiveness of law enforcement, it also carries significant risks, such as violating individual privacy. This study recommends incorporating Pancasila values into AI system design by ensuring diversity in the data used, increasing transparency, and establishing clear ethical guidelines and regulations. Aligning AI with Pancasila values can improve the quality of law enforcement, uphold justice, and protect human dignity while minimizing the potential risks associated with AI technology.
