This cross-sectional observational study examined the relationship between anthropometric changes and psychological health in 199 postmenopausal women from the Nador region of Morocco, aged 40 to 59 years. Menopausal climacteric symptoms were analyzed. Anthropometric measures (BMI, waist circumference, and waist-to-hip ratio) and a survey assessing lifestyle and psychological well-being were used. Results indicated that physical symptoms and vasomotor symptoms were the most frequently reported. The majority of women had a high BMI and abdominal obesity. The study highlights the role of cultural, social, and individual factors in postmenopausal women's perception of their bodies and suggests that psychological well-being may not depend solely on physical changes.
