Geoecological principles and criteria for evaluating the efficiency of regional touristic-recreational systems of the Fergana valley

In the article analyzes comprehensive assessments of the geoecological, natural, historical, economic and ecological potential of the Fergana region in the tourism development. Touristic-recreational potential of the nature of Fergana region were studied and recommendations for its use, methods of assessing the touristic-recreational potential of the Fergana region have been improved based on GIS, taking into account regional characteristics. Touristic-recreational potential of Fergana region was evaluated based on natural factors, historical factors, economic factors, touristic factors, ecological situation and negative factors. The role and importance of each administrative-territorial unit in the touristic-recreational potential of Fergana region was determined. On the basis of the thematic and comprehensive evaluation of the touristic-recreational potential of Fergana region, the private (natural, historical, economic) and general typology (highest, high, medium, low) of the administrative units of the region was distinguished. With the help of this evaluation method, the results of the touristic-recreational potential determined by the specific potential of each typology can be used in the development of promising programs aimed at the development of the sector.
